Every month, the recurring Theme Week represents a perfect occasion to taste our sweet and salty creations, inspired by the season, the colors and a personal interpretation of an always different subject. Sometimes, the Theme Week offers moments of show cooking. Migliarino, San Rossore, Massaciuccoli Regional Park was established in 1979. It covers approximately 24,000 hectares situated along the coast from Viareggio and Livorno. Although it lies in the middle of a strongly urbanized area, this territory has maintained considerable natural features, and here it is possible to find one of the rare examples of non-built coastal area. San Rossore Visitors center organizes guided tours on foot, by bike, by the little train as well as tandem and electric cars (with driving licence). The San Giuliano Terme are jus only 10 minutes by car from the hotel. For those who love golf the Tirrenia Golf Club is just 20 minutes from the hotel. It can boast the fact that it is one of the most antique and stunning golf courses in all of Tuscany. The course, designed by the English architect Ken Cotton was majestically carved 40 years ago into a wonderful green secular pinewood and into a blooming Mediterranean maquis. Being voted a few years ago the best 9 hole course in Italy by "Golf Digest" magazine, it offers golf players an harmonious and stimulating route. Don’t miss the world renowned Cathedral square (Piazza dei Miracoli) with its Leaning Tower, the Monumental Cemetery and Knight’s square with its Scuola Normale (Normal School) founded by Napoleon in 1810. Just a few kilometres from the city centre, in the village of Calci, is the Certosa of Pisa. The monastery was founded in 1366 as a ghotic buliding financed with the patrimony of a rich Pisan merchant of Armenian origins. The last monk left in 1972 :no longer used as a Carthusian monastery, it is now a museum under the superintendence of the University of Pisa.
