The Idea Hotel Trieste Duino features 77 completely soundproof rooms for smokers and not provided with WIFI internet connection. 32” TV flat screen, Sky Gold TV, satellite channels, Pay-Per-View Movies, direct phone, mini fridge and air conditioning. For families with children the hotel offers double rooms with a sofa bed or family rooms (two communicating rooms). Family Suites are provided with separate bathroom facilities and two TVs. Children up to 18 years will benefit from free accommodation if they share their parents room. Baby cots are available on request. Some rooms boast an outstanding view over Duino Castel that overlooks Trieste and Monfalcone gulf.

The Trieste Film Festival in January or the Bavisela (the European Marathon) in May( www.bavisela.it) but the most popular event is the Barcolana where amateur and professional teams compete in a spectacular boat race in Barcola.
